About

What We Are, and How We Work

A managed IT provider in the Chicagoland area. We get to know your business and get involved in it, so the IT fits how you actually work. Security-first, transparently priced, and documented so you can always see what you are paying for.

What we do

We Run the Day-to-Day IT

Computers, Microsoft 365, and security, for a published monthly rate. Businesses come to us because technology has become something they manage rather than something that works, and because the alternative, hiring for it directly, is not realistic for most of them. Everything we deliver is listed in one place, with how the plans and the add-ons fit together.

We work closely with every client. We learn how your business runs, who does what, and what a bad day looks like for you, and we plan the IT around that. When something comes up, you talk to people who already know your environment, not a ticket queue.

We work with small and medium businesses. Some have no one looking after IT, some have one person carrying all of it. What decides the fit is whether running a full in-house IT department makes sense for you, not how many people you employ.

Vendor partnerships

The Same Platforms Enterprises Run

Being enrolled with each vendor means an escalation path with a name attached when something is genuinely broken, and the vendor's own advisories as they are issued.

Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider
Microsoft 365 licensing and tenant administration.
Fortinet Partner
Managed firewalls and network security.
NETGEAR Enterprise Partner
Switching and wireless.
Lenovo Partner
Hardware procurement and lifecycle.
Dell Partner
Hardware procurement and lifecycle.

How we work

Four Things We Do Differently

Published pricing

Every plan rate and the add-ons most businesses need are on the website. You should be able to work out what we cost without booking a call, and you can. Most providers in this market will not do that.

Security is the floor

Every plan includes 24/7 security operations monitoring, including the entry tier. It is not a premium upgrade, because a business that cannot afford security is precisely the business attackers look for.

One number to call

Vendor management is included. When the internet provider and the software vendor disagree about whose problem it is, that is ours to resolve rather than yours to referee.

Documented, not mysterious

Your environment is written down, changes and issues are logged, and you get a monthly security report on every plan and a quarterly review on Protect+. IT should not be a black box you pay for and cannot inspect.

The engagement

What Working With Us Looks Like

It starts with an assessment, on a call

Thirty minutes going through what you run and what is not working. If you want to go further, you get a written proposal with the plan, the add-ons we recommend, and the published rates. No obligation either way.

Onboarding is a project, not a switch

We document what you actually have, deploy the agents, secure every account, and bring monitoring online. Typically two to four weeks depending on size and complexity, scheduled around your operations rather than ours.

Then it is mostly invisible

Patching, monitoring and security operations run continuously, so most problems are resolved before anybody reports them. When you do need us, you reach people who know your setup. The measure of this working is how rarely you think about it.

And reviewed on a schedule

A monthly security report on every plan. On Protect+, a quarterly review of what happened, what changed, and what is coming, so technology decisions are tied to business decisions rather than a list of tickets closed.

Where we are

Based in Chicagoland

We are based in Park Ridge, Illinois, and most of our clients are around Chicagoland. Most of our day is spent inside clients' systems rather than at a front desk, so there is no walk-in office. Meetings in person are arranged in advance, in Park Ridge or at your office.

The phone is answered Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CT, and security operations monitoring runs continuously outside those hours. To start a conversation, the contact page is the place.

Want to Talk?

A thirty-minute call where we go through what you run and what is not working. We reply within one business day, and there is no obligation.
