Ransomware
Gets in through a phishing email, an unpatched machine, or a stolen password, then encrypts everything it can reach. Met by catching the sign-in, keeping devices patched, and keeping a backup it cannot touch.
Managed cybersecurity
Security is not an upgrade here. Every plan starts with security baselines and 24/7 identity threat detection and response, because ransomware, phishing, and account takeover all begin with a sign-in. The layers build from there.
Security is the floor
We do not sell a plan without security in it. Every plan starts with security baselines applied to your Microsoft 365 tenant, and identity threat detection and response watching who signs in, around the clock. That is the floor, and the three attacks that hurt small businesses most all start there.
Gets in through a phishing email, an unpatched machine, or a stolen password, then encrypts everything it can reach. Met by catching the sign-in, keeping devices patched, and keeping a backup it cannot touch.
An email that looks right, asking for a password or a payment. Met by multi-factor authentication, and by catching the moment a stolen sign-in is used.
Someone inside a Microsoft 365 mailbox, reading, forwarding, and sending as your staff. Met by identity threat detection: impossible travel, new inbox rules, and unfamiliar apps, watched around the clock.
How we protect you
No single tool stops every attack. Effective small business cybersecurity stacks defenses so an attacker who slips past one layer is caught at the next.
Multi-factor authentication plus 24/7 identity threat detection and response, on every plan.
Microsoft 365 email security, with SPF, DKIM and DMARC monitoring on Protect+.
EDR with 24/7 SOC response on Protect and Protect+.
Managed firewall, segmentation, and VPN, quoted per location.
Disk encryption on Protect and Protect+, plus backup add-ons for Microsoft 365, devices, and servers.
Security awareness training on Protect+.
Pick your plan
The right plan depends on how your team works, what devices they use, and what compliance pressure you face.
You do not need company-managed devices, but you do want 24/7 identity protection and a helpdesk for Microsoft 365.
Your team works on company devices and you want them monitored, patched, and protected with managed EDR. Two devices per person are included in the seat.
You face FTC Safeguards or PCI scrutiny, or your cyber insurance carrier is asking for documented controls.
Protect+ is designed to support progress toward CIS Controls IG1. Every plan's inclusions and rates are on the pricing page.
Ransomware
Ransomware does not break down doors anymore. It walks in through a phishing email, an unpatched machine, or a stolen password, then quietly maps your network for days before encrypting everything you have. Each layer takes away one of those routes:
Day-to-day IT and security are one service here, under managed IT services, so nothing falls between an IT team and a security team.
Frequently asked questions
Onboarding scope and timeline depend on your environment: the size of your user base, what is being replaced, and how complex the cutover is. Once we understand your environment, we give you a written timeline. Identity protection and MFA come online first, because those cover the highest-risk attack surfaces.
We start with what you have, identify the gaps, and migrate without unnecessary disruption. On the Protect and Protect+ tiers, your existing antivirus is replaced by managed EDR during onboarding. Existing firewalls are assessed rather than automatically replaced.
Gradient is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider and we manage Microsoft 365 directly within your existing tenant. We do not migrate you to a different platform. We harden the security posture of the tenant you already have.
Every plan includes 24/7 identity threat detection and response, because the Microsoft 365 account is what attackers go after first. What separates the tiers is whether we manage your devices. Connect covers the Microsoft 365 account only, with user administration, MFA enrollment and support, and helpdesk, and no company-managed devices, so EDR is not part of it. Protect is where devices come in, and with them managed EDR, automated patching, and device-level support. Protect+ adds compliance controls aligned to CIS IG1. Every plan rate and the add-ons most businesses need are published on the pricing page, so you can work out the cost for your team without a sales call.
